Managing Busy Times

Blocking off time on the calendar for breaks, vacations, and other non-bookable periods.

Busy times are blocks on the calendar that mark a staff member as unavailable — without creating an appointment. Use them for breaks, internal meetings, training, or any non-bookable time.

Even the busiest studios have time that's off-limits for client bookings — a lunch break, a supplier delivery, a team huddle. Busy times let you block those moments right on the calendar so they're visible to everyone at a glance and clients can't be accidentally booked in.


Creating a Busy Time

  1. Go to the Calendar.
  2. Click on an empty time slot in a staff member's column.
  3. Select Busy time from the menu.
  4. Fill in the form:

  1. Click Save.

The busy block appears on the calendar as a shaded area. Clients cannot book into this time slot.


Editing a Busy Time

  1. Click the busy time block on the calendar.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Modify the fields as needed.
  4. Click Save.

Deleting a Busy Time

  1. Click the busy time block on the calendar.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

The time slot becomes available for bookings again.

Use Working Hours for regular weekly schedules and Busy Times for one-off blocks within those hours.
