Operating Hours

Configure when your studio is open, control slot intervals, tail-fill behavior, and booking policies.

Studio hours define when clients can book. Without open days, your booking page shows no available slots — so this is the first thing to set up when going live. You can also control how tightly slots are packed and add a booking policy that appears on your booking page and in appointment emails.

Accessing These Settings

  • Weekly schedule — go to Studio Configuration → Hours.
  • Slot timing and booking policy — go to Studio Configuration → Booking.

Setting Your Weekly Schedule

The weekly schedule is the default recurring template for your studio:

  1. For each day of the week, toggle the day on (open) or off (closed).
  2. For open days, set the opening time and closing time using the time pickers.
  3. Click Save.

How Studio Hours Relate to Staff Hours

  • Studio hours set the outer boundary — the booking page won't offer slots outside these hours.
  • Staff hours set the inner boundary — individual staff can have shorter hours within the studio window.
  • An appointment can only be booked when it fits within both the studio hours and the staff member's hours.
  • Studio hours alone do not create public booking slots. A slot also needs an active bookable staff member with effective availability.
  • If no studio days are open, the public booking page has no available slots.

Scheduling Defaults

These settings control how slots are generated within your open hours.

Main Slot Interval

The interval at which booking slots start. A 60-minute interval means slots begin at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, and so on.

OptionDescription
60 minutes (hourly)One slot start per hour
30 minutesSlot starts every half hour
15 minutesSlot starts every quarter hour
5 minutesSlot starts every five minutes

Fill Partial Gaps with Smaller Starts

When enabled, short leftover windows that fall between main slots can still be offered to clients — for example, a 15-minute gap at 10:45 could still be bookable even though 11:00 is the next main slot.

  • Tail fill interval — the denser grid used for these leftover gaps (5 or 15 minutes). Only active when fill is enabled.

Booking Policy

A booking policy is optional text that appears on your booking page and inside client appointment emails.

  1. Enable Show booking policy.
  2. Enter your policy text (up to 4,000 characters).
  3. Click Save.

Use it for: cancellation notice, no-show fees, late arrivals, deposits, allergies, contraindications, or any prep instructions clients need before their visit.

Extra Note in Appointment Emails Only

You can also add a separate note that appears only in appointment emails — not on the public booking page. This is useful for visit-specific reminders such as pre-treatment instructions.

  1. Enable Add extra note to appointment emails.
  2. Enter the note text (up to 2,000 characters).
  3. Click Save.
